What a lovely site to visit. I am researching my Lound family from Little Bytham. William Lound left in 1852 for Canada, then eventually to Michigan, USA. Would love to hear from other Lound researchers.

I have recently started university so don't get to go home to Castle Bytham that often, so thanks for the website. It stops me feeling homesick when I look through the picture galleries - there really good.

Nice to see the Bythams on the "map" I wondered where it had got to, now you have a NEW URL. It's surprising how many people use the internet now and manage to find you. Good luck with the web page.

Ancestor, Melchizedeck Richardson was christened in Castle Bytham in 1647. Your part of the world is beautiful!

I just love this site. I am researching my ancestors the Wing family. There is a picture of the Fox & Hounds Public House which an ancestor George Wing ran in the 1880's & 90's. Keep up the good work.

Superb piece of very complex village webbery. There is so much to see here, and the photos are great.

Visited recently after finding that my Grandfather, James Edward Lound, came from Little Bytham. Found two graves in churchyard with family name. Would appreciate further information, if anyone has any, as it is early days of my search. Will return to see parish records if I can arrange. Best wishes with your site.
