I worked at The Grange, Little Bytham for Anthony and Judy Turner from 1977 to 1986 as herdsman: My "formative" years! Now farming in my own right in South Leicestershire (or trying to!)

Still have a soft spot for the area and folk and keep in touch by receiving the Glenside News by post (sad or what?)

Like the web-site and wish you all the best as you develop it. I have put up a site for our own village at: http://www.husbandsbosworth.info/ and get ex-pat villagers from all over the world calling in regularly.

I was brought up at School House, Little Bytham as my parents taught there from around 1935 - `49. So very pleased to find this Website as many memories remain. By chance I was at the Village Gala in `97 (passing through) and would very much like to come back this year, if it`s not too late. (Hi to Anthony and Judith at Grange Farm...)

I'm looking forward to learning more about your village as the website develops. The opening photo looks quite welcoming. Good luck!

Hi.
This is a first for me, being the first person to sign a new guestbook. I hope the following entry is OK.

Nice website, I look forward to seeing how it develops. All the best with it.
