A view of the ford in Church Lane, Little Bytham during a period of flooding. Note the water flowing out of the gate of number 16 Church Lane, the garden of which would, at this point, be well under water. The river does rise even higher than shown here even to the extent of the decking of the footbridge being several inches under water.
