Lincolnshire County Council. The website includes information covering
the whole of Lincolnshire, details of events, places to eat, places
to see and a whole host of other stuff.
April 2003 : Wood
Green Animal Shelters
added 13/04/03
Jimmy and Pebbles, our two dogs,
have given us great pleasure since we rehomed them from Wood Green
in January 2002.
Jimmy (right) and Pebbles
They have also 'helped' in constructing the Walks
section of theBythams website, finding things to sniff at on all
of our walks which we would never have found ourselves!
After a period of illness at the end of a long life (15 years) Jimmy
left us to 'chase bunnies' elsewhere on Monday 7 April 2003 and
so it seemed appropriate to include Wood Green as this months 'Featured
Website'.
February 2003 : Environment
Agency
With all the rain that we have had so far this year it seemed rather
appropriate to feature the Environment Agency website this month.
The government agency 'responsible for improving and protecting
the environment'. Also manage the Floodline scheme designed to provide
some form of warning to those at risk of imminent danger of flooding.
January 2003 : Thinkingshire
This website has been constructed by the people at South Kesteven
District Council to encourage tourism within south west Lincolnshire.
It basically covers the Bourne, Grantham, Market Deeping and Stamford
area.
Visitors to the site can find out about places to visit, accomodation, and
events taking place as well as background information about the
area itself.
Makes you want to get out there yourself ... and how many of us
never really visit the places around us ... prefering to drive furtehr
afield or fly abroad when ... it is all on our door step?
Well Done SKDC !
