Audit Review
Moore
Stephens in Leicester had received the points of clarification
on the audit figures and were satisfied with the response.
GENERAL ITEMS
Highways
Street light #26 on Station Road was reported unserviceable. In addition,
the footpath on Station Road from the Willoughby
Pub towards Little Bytham needs some additional widening as the
current width is too narrow for a pram to be used. The path needs
to be extended or the verge needs to be cut back.
Distribution of Minutes
The Clerk state that he was unsure of the requirement for distributing
final minutes to Parish Councillors. It was agreed that once the minutes
had been approved , a final version would be given to Mrs Murphy who
would be able to copy and distribute as required. The Clerk stated
that he had no photocopying capability at his home but was able to
fax or email copies to Councillors.
Correspondence
Correspondence had been received from Quentin Davies reference the
development at Old Station Yard.
Details of a new minibus service were distributed and a 'Travel and
Transport' briefing was circulated.
A paper inviting bids for a Transport Grant had been received and
a booklet from Lincolnshire
Police was circulated.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Village Hall
Mrs Fare had donated the Village Hall to the village in the 1970's.
However, despite a recent thorough search, the Deeds could not be
found. The Clerk was requested to investigate how duplicate deeds
could be obtained.
The date of the next meeting was arranged for Thursday 9 January 2003
at 19.30
