places : bythams spinney

(Added 26/04/03)

The East Coast Mainline forms the western boundary of the Bythams Spinney site. At the start of 2003 Network Rail, the people that currently run Britains railways, have agreed to install more substantial fencing to prevent access to the line from the Spinney. This picture was taken shortly before the work was due to be carried out. It shows how the project volunteers have made the barrier more defined by placing shrub they have cleared from other parts of the site along the existing wire fence.
