places : disused railways : gnr : little bytham goods shed

added 28/11/05

A view of the south and east facing sides of the former goods shed in Little Bytham. Apart from the obvious moss covered section on the left hand side of the roof which is evident as being rotten on the inside, the roof is intact and looks in good repair. The canopy, which would once have provided protection from the elements for goods being offloaded from wagons and road vehicles into the shed, is looking dilapidated but appears to be structurally sound (Feb 2004).
