places : disused railways

added 30/10/05

Access to the east-bound (to Bourne) platform of the former railway station in Castle Bytham was gained via a steep footpath adjacent to the road bridge on the road from Castle Bytham to Holywell. The path today shows signs of continued useage even though technically the land on which the line and former station stands is now not open to the public.
