A High Speed Train (HST 125) on the viaduct in the centre of the village adjacent to the Mallard Inn. These units have since transferred into the hands of GNER who run one of the current services along the East Coast Mainline, and have (April 2003) recently been refitted to enable them to continue to run for a further 10 to 20 years!
